Tiger 100P Mercury. The P denotes police spec model and these were officially known as Police Mercury models. Based on that years Tiger 100 S these models had extra spec for the police which could vary from police force to police force. This is rare because Triumph only made 180 Police spec T100s that year and this one was the only one sold directly for civilian use. Police machines had upgrades such as an upgraded alternator to cope with the electrical requirements. They also had Chrono speedos as these were more accurate than magnetic. There were often engine upgrades as well.
