1958 Ariel 650cc Hunt Master twin. V5C present. Original registration number which is transferrable. Classed as historic so tax and MOT exempt.
This is a really tidy bike which is an older restoration. The file shows a lot of money being spent on it in 2010, so I guess that is when most of the work was done. It is still very clean and tidy and runs great. Very easy to start, ticks over nicely, no undue noise or smoke from the engine etc. The rims are clean, so the wheels have obviously being rebuilt at some point. the paintwork and chrome work is all presentable. The bike is clean and tidy, but not mint, it is the kind of bike you would be happy to use regularly. The lights all work etc but I could not tell if it was charging. I rode it just up and down the road and the gears / brakes / clutch etc were all faultless. So this is a good soft tuned touring machine. It appears to be dry as a bone underneath, so is not dropping oil. The oil return to the tank is good. I think this is pretty well set up and ready to use. Here is a short video of it at tickover:
