1954 BSA A10. £4,000

1954 BSA A10 Golden Flash. V5C present. This is clearly a bike that has been restored in recent history, probably within the last ten years. You can see new rims, chrome and paintwork. It is still very tidy and presentable, I would not say mint by any means, but definately tidy enough to use as is without any urgent work. The bike starts very easily, sounds good, lights up and is charging. This is a ride away prospect with good oil return etc. I would say a service and this is one that you are out and about on. It does have a much later twin leading shoe front brake fitted. The odd anorak might grimace (and then get on the bus home) whilst the regular rider might well clap their hands and think that this is good news. In any event it looks to be a standard hub so changing a brake plate back to original if that is your thing is hardly rocket science, so NASA can stand down on this occasion. First year of the swing arm. Alloy head fitted, which I think was more of a Rocket item than a standard Flash item. This is a good useable classic that is priced fairly to sell. By all means go and buy a wreck to restore, and see if you have any change left by the time you have paid to restore it. This represents a short cut because someone else has thrown money at this at some point in the not too distant past. Save yourself the time and hassle, and buy this knowing you will be riding this in the spring and not have it in a thousand bits sucking up money. 07718 593259. I am open to exchange on older machines.
