1950 Sunbeam S8. Current V5C present. Nice bike with a large file showing loads of money spent on it during a restoration about ten years ago. The mileage does not seem high since. Look at the sparkly wheels, the nice paint work etc. The motor runs great. Engine cases could do with a polish now, but basically this bike is ready to roll. So it’s still perfectly tidy enough to use as is, but not mint. A small fortune was sent on it at the time and I must say it all seems pretty good to me. Save yourself the time and stress of restoring one, just buy this and get out on the road. Actually, with the way restoration costs have gone and the price of parts, you would probably spend more than this restoring one today. Don’t bother, just short cut all that hassle, don’t lose another summer.
