So what we have here is basically a 1946 Velocette MAC which is a 350cc overhead valve single with a slightly earlier MDD or military engine fitted. The bike is rigid with girders and is in very nice condition.
The bike comes with a current V5C which has an age related number.
I am going to suggest that this is an older restoration that has stood up really well as the bike is really nice and tidy. The frame number is clearly 1946. The MDD engines were produced only for the Military during WW2. Clearly someone has mated an earlier engine to a 1946 MAC which would still have had girders that year. The MDD machines were not produced in high numbers and I believe they are very much sought after as a result in Velocette circles. The bike its self starts up easy and lights up and runs around.

Velocette are fine machines, and always attract attention amongst the vintage motorcycle community.
