1984 Moto Guzzi V65C. Current V5C present. Currently on Sorn. MOT to Nov 2022.
This is quite a rare machine. The letter C indicates custom as this is an early factory custom. Here is a link showing spec and factory pics at launch:

So, in a nutshell, their California models had proved to be extremely popular, but Guzzi did not really have a mid sized model to market in that style, hence the V65C, which came out this year. The 65 relates to 650cc if you did not know.
If you look at the pics, you will see how remarkably standard to original spec this machine is with correct original panniers, screen, mirrors, exhausts and so on.
The bike starts on the button and runs fine. Here is a short walk around video of it:

So, everything appears to work as it should. It rides and pulls really well, and it is in original factory trim. The bike is tidy, but not mint, but tidy enough to use as is. The panniers just unclip, the screen can come off in five minutes, and it makes it look less bulky. To be fair one silencer does rattle when you rev it hard indicating a loose baffle, but the machine does come with a spare pair of aftermarket silencers which can be fitted if required.
This machine is electric start only, no kicking. It is shaft drive… so no fiddling with chains etc. This is designed to be easy to use and fairly bullet proof. For those who love Gazzi’s, you will know how good these are. This is an early 80s factory custom, just as most major factories were adding this sort of thing to their range. In Guzzi terms, this is pretty rare here.
