1928 Matchless T3 which is a 500cc side vale single. V5C is present. The machine appears to be pretty much unrestored and fairly original. Nice original levers, tin ware and fitments etc. The bike starts easily and runs a treat. I had a little tootle around on it today to check it all works and I am pleased to say that it does. Obviously this is a Banbury eligible machine being pre 1930 and ideal for the odd vintage run. This is priced at less than an equivalent M20 for example yet is far far more rare. First of the saddle type tank machines this is just ideal for local shows and country roads. A lighting kit and speedometer were optional extras in the day, but all of those items you can easily fit to make the bike a tad more useable, so that’s a great little project on it’s own. This is a ride or restore job, but as it stands this one you can actually ride home on as it is, so it’s up to you if you want to restore or just use it as it is.
