1951 BSA ZB32 350cc Goldstar clubmans. This comes with a current V5C and is on its original registration number which is transferrable. Classed as historic, this is tax and MOT exempt at this age. it also has its original green logbook.Anyone checking out the machine will notice it was first registered in the UK in 1955. This is because the machine was originally despatched to Singapore and returned to the UK in 1955. There is a letter on file from the BSA Goldstar owners club confirming all of these details from the factory records and that this machine completely tallies up with the original records, showing that frame engine and gearbox all left the factory together and in this spec and was originally exported. The bike has been restored and is in near show room condition. Only some slight pitting on the rear rim prevents me from describing this bike as absolutely mint. The bike starts first kick and runs like a dream. If you look closely you will se an Alton dynamo fitted and this means the bike is charging very strongly. The magneto also carries the label BTH competition. So it appears to have a competition magneto fitted, which is probably why it starts so easily. This is an early plunger Goldstar with an all alloy top end. It has chrome guards fitted and twin Chronometric clocks. The spec looks to be all correct and standard for a 1951 BSA ZB32 Goldstar. This is like buying one when they were new. It is a fantastic looking machine and one that will draw a lot of attention out on the road. The last owner tells me that it pulls and runs really well, a real pleasure to use. It has only been sold to fund other projects. The engine is quiet and not smoking. Gear selection is faultless. Oil return is strong. The bike is ready to buy and use, you don’t need to spend a penny on it.Viewing is always welcome. 07718 593259 to view. Collection is preferred, but I can arrange for delivery within the UK by courier. No Paypal or credit card payments accepted. Part exchange for older machines always welcome. |
