1957 Panther 197cc powered by a Villers 2 stoke singe engine. Panthers answer to the bantam in affect. V5C is present. This looks to be a much older restoration with brush painted tin ware and wheels. It has been stood some time. Despite that it started OK and you can here it revs OK. I have not put a fresh battery on, but I assume that the lights will work with a fresh battery. The sharp eyed amongst you will notice good tyres on it, and they do have good tread. The stand is leaning a bit. It wants warming up on one side and easing over a bit on one side. the mileage on the clock at 17,753 could well be genuine. This is a light recommissioning job. It wants a good service, a new battery, some new fuel and you would be using this. How far you go regarding restoring it would be up to you but this looks to me to be a good run aorund at a budget. the engine sounded pretty good and it is a lot more rare than the equivalent Bantam. Additionally, because this is Villiers powered, then engine spares are still fairly well available. I am open to exchange. 07718 593259
